A quick photo of the setup for capturing the heron's on their nests well above ground level. I used my Pentax SLR attached to a Meade ETX-90. With it's 1.25m focal length, using the ETX-90 meant having to be at least 60m away (most shots were from >70m). At that distance, the entire nest still didn't fit in the frame.
