Here is a detailed equipment list of the gear directly available to be economically be negotiated into any estimate or quote. See Sound Services for more.
Additional/different rental gear may be required, depending on the type and size of the function/event. My preferred rental provider is Long & McQuade.
- Base control systems:
- Behringer X32 Rack digital mixer, with X-Live expansion card for on-board multichannel recording/playback
- Mackie DL16S digital mixer
- simple analog mixer (8 XLR-in + 2 aux/rca-in, 2 1/4" main-out, 1 1/4" monitor out)
- iPads for mixer control
- Laptop for mixer control and off-board multichannel recording/playback
- Doubles as A/V interface for hybrid meetings.
- Wired gigabit Ethernet for system control, with 5G WiFi for wireless access
- Mains:
- FOH/mid-house/back-house/front-fill
- two Yorkville PS12P 1400W (4400W peak) powered loudspeakers*
- two Podium Pro Audio (model PP1003A) 250W (500W peak) powered PA speakers*
- two 10’ Behringer Eurolive B210D 200W (220W peak) powered PA/monitor speaker
- all the above connected via:
- direct cable, or
- Alto Stealth MkII wireless system for powered speakers (two transmit channels, four receiver packs)
- six standard height speaker stands (max 77")
- two XL speaker stands (max 100")
- FOH/mid-house/back-house/front-fill
- Monitors:
- three 8’ Behringer Eurolive B208D 200W (220W peak) powered PA/monitor speakers
- one Behringer Eurolive B205D 150W ultra compact monitor speaker
- D Debra ER202 Wireless In-Ear monitoring system, with two receiver packs
- Anyone wanting this option must first discuss ear safety procedures with me.
- Note: For those that want to control their own monitors, you can bring your own device loaded up with Mackie Master Fader 5 for the DL16S or one of Behringer's X32 apps for the X32R -- or I can often spare a tablet for this purpose.
- Microphones / Inputs:
- four BBE Magnum D.I. active DI Boxes
- XVive U3 for wireless connection of a normally wired mic or line-level device
- Numark WS100 dedicated wireless handheld mic (fixed at 915.5 MHz)
- three CAD D38 dynamic supercardioid mics (unswitched)
- two Audio-Technica AT2020 condenser microphones with standard and shock absorbing mounts
- one Audio-Technica AT2021 condenser microphone
- one each non-branded switched and unswitched handheld mics
- Microphone stands:
- four standard mic stands with extendable booms
- short 2' mic stand
- table top mic stand
- XLR M-F cables of varying lengths to meet most needs
- Miscellaneous audio adapters and adapter cables to meet most live sound needs
